EPISODE TRANSCRIPT
[00:00:00] Fred Glick: So you’re thinking about becoming a real estate agent and joining a company. Well, most of these companies will hire you. They’ll give you people to help you. They’ll do a little training and then they kind of throw you out there. We do it completely different. We want you to do what you do best. That’s go out and market yourself and get clients.
We take care of everything else, all the backend stuff. Especially all the paperwork. So you’re not responsible to do it. Isn’t that great? Well, hear all about it in this podcast.
[00:00:36] AI Podcaster 1: All right. Welcome back everybody for another deep dive.
[00:00:40] AI Podcaster 2: Today, we’re going to be looking at something pretty interesting.
[00:00:43] AI Podcaster 1: Okay.
[00:00:43] AI Podcaster 2: It’s this new approach to real estate that’s kind of turning heads and making people wonder if it could be the future.
[00:00:51] AI Podcaster 1: Interesting.
[00:00:52] AI Podcaster 2: Yeah. So we’re diving into a recruiting document from fairhousing.io.
[00:00:57] AI Podcaster 1: Okay.
[00:00:58] AI Podcaster 2: And we’re going to kind of dissect it and see what we can learn about their strategy and how they’re trying to shake things up.
[00:01:04] AI Podcaster 1: All right. I’m ready to dive in.
[00:01:05] AI Podcaster 2: So fairhousing.io, it’s a website that’s actively recruiting real estate agents to work under their brand. And the whole thing is owned by Arrivva.com.
[00:01:17] AI Podcaster 1: Interesting.
[00:01:18] AI Podcaster 2: Yeah. So right off the bat, you can tell that they’re all about tech.
[00:01:21] AI Podcaster 1: Sounds like it.
[00:01:21] AI Podcaster 2: And doing things a little differently than your typical brokerage.
[00:01:24] AI Podcaster 1: Yeah. And from the recruiting document, they seem to be looking for a very specific type of agent.
[00:01:30] AI Podcaster 2: Oh, yeah.
[00:01:31] AI Podcaster 1: It’s not just anyone they’re after.
[00:01:32] AI Podcaster 2: Yeah. They’re not afraid to be bold in who they’re looking for. It’s like they’re looking for those agents who are maybe feeling a bit stifled by the traditional way of doing things.
[00:01:44] AI Podcaster 1: Yeah, I can see that.
[00:01:45] AI Podcaster 2: You know, the ones who are ready to embrace new ideas and technologies and aren’t afraid to kind of break the mold a little bit.
[00:01:53] AI Podcaster 1: It sounds like they’re trying to attract agents who are more entrepreneurial.
[00:01:56] AI Podcaster 2: Totally.
[00:01:56] AI Podcaster 1: Who want to be in the driver’s seat of their own careers.
[00:01:59] AI Podcaster 2: Yeah, they’re not shying away from saying they want people with brains.
[00:02:02] AI Podcaster 1: Uh huh.
[00:02:03] AI Podcaster 2: So, you know, right away they’re looking for people who are sharp and adaptable.
[00:02:07] AI Podcaster 1: Yeah. And they specifically mentioned newly licensed agents as a target group.
[00:02:13] AI Podcaster 2: So maybe they’re thinking that these new agents are, you know, more likely to be open to a different way of doing things.
[00:02:21] AI Podcaster 1: That makes sense.
[00:02:21] AI Podcaster 2: Haven’t been sort of ingrained in the old system yet.
[00:02:25] AI Podcaster 1: Right, they’re not set in their ways.
[00:02:26] AI Podcaster 2: Yeah, exactly.
[00:02:27] AI Podcaster 1: And they also mention agents who are dissatisfied with the traditional brands.
[00:02:31] AI Podcaster 2: Yeah, the ones who are looking for something more, something different, something that aligns, you know, their values and their vision.
[00:02:38] AI Podcaster 1: So it’s really about appealing to a sense of independence.
[00:02:40] AI Podcaster 2: Definitely.
[00:02:41] AI Podcaster 1: And that desire to break free from the constraints of traditional brokerage models.
[00:02:46] AI Podcaster 2: Yeah, and they’re backing it up with some pretty enticing benefits.
[00:02:49] AI Podcaster 1: Right. What are some of the key things they’re highlighting?
[00:02:52] AI Podcaster 2: Well, the two that really jumped out at me were flexible compensation.
[00:02:56] AI Podcaster 1: Okay.
[00:02:57] AI Podcaster 2: And this is the big one. No paperwork.
[00:03:00] AI Podcaster 1: Oh, wow.
[00:03:01] AI Podcaster 2: Now, I don’t know about you, but…
[00:03:02] AI Podcaster 1: It sounds amazing.
[00:03:03] AI Podcaster 2: As someone who’s been in the real estate game…
[00:03:05] AI Podcaster 1: Yeah.
[00:03:06] AI Podcaster 2: For a while, the paperwork is always the biggest headache.
[00:03:10] AI Podcaster 1: It can be a nightmare.
[00:03:10] AI Podcaster 2: It’s just a mountain of forms and documents and it takes up so much time.
[00:03:15] AI Podcaster 1: Yeah, it takes away from actually working with clients.
[00:03:17] AI Podcaster 2: Exactly. So the promise of no paperwork, that’s a pretty big deal.
[00:03:21] AI Podcaster 1: I can see why that would be a major selling point.
[00:03:23] AI Podcaster 2: Yeah. It’s like a dream come true for a lot of agents.
[00:03:26] AI Podcaster 1: So how would they actually pull that off?
[00:03:28] AI Podcaster 2: It sounds like they’re heavily reliant on technology and automation to streamline the entire process.
[00:03:35] AI Podcaster 1: Makes sense.
[00:03:36] AI Podcaster 2: Probably a lot of e-signatures and online platforms, and I’m guessing they have a dedicated support team that handles all the behind-the-scenes stuff, so the agents can really focus on what they do best.
[00:03:47] AI Podcaster 1: Right. Building relationships.
[00:03:48] AI Podcaster 2: Yeah.
[00:03:48] AI Podcaster 1: Finding those buyers and sellers.
[00:03:50] AI Podcaster 2: Exactly. Closing. Yeah. So that flexible compensation, that’s another interesting aspect.
[00:03:57] AI Podcaster 1: Yeah. How does that work?
[00:03:58] AI Podcaster 2: Well, it seems like agents have more control over their commission structure.
[00:04:03] AI Podcaster 1: Okay.
[00:04:04] AI Podcaster 2: They’re not locked into a fixed split with the brokerage.
[00:04:07] AI Podcaster 1: Interesting.
[00:04:07] AI Podcaster 2: So they have the potential to earn more.
[00:04:09] AI Podcaster 1: So it’s more tailored to the individual agent.
[00:04:12] AI Podcaster 2: Yeah, exactly. It’s like they’re empowering agents to be more entrepreneurial.
[00:04:16] AI Podcaster 1: To really build their own businesses within the fairhousing.io framework.
[00:04:19] AI Podcaster 2: Right, and that can be really appealing.
[00:04:22] AI Podcaster 1: Yeah.
[00:04:23] AI Podcaster 2: Especially for experienced agents.
[00:04:24] AI Podcaster 1: Who are already bringing in a lot of business.
[00:04:26] AI Podcaster 2: Yeah, they’re not losing a big chunk of their commission to the brokerage.
[00:04:30] AI Podcaster 1: So it sounds pretty attractive on the surface.
[00:04:32] AI Podcaster 2: Yeah, it’s definitely a unique approach.
[00:04:34] AI Podcaster 1: And it makes me wonder.
[00:04:35] AI Podcaster 2: Yeah.
[00:04:36] AI Podcaster 1: If this model might be better suited for experienced agents.
[00:04:40] AI Podcaster 2: Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.
[00:04:42] AI Podcaster 1: You know, agents who already have a strong network.
[00:04:46] AI Podcaster 2: Mm-hmm.
[00:04:46] AI Podcaster 1: And their own systems in place.
[00:04:48] AI Podcaster 2: Exactly, they might not need as much hand-holding.
[00:04:50] AI Podcaster 1: Right, they can hit the ground running.
[00:04:52] AI Podcaster 2: Whereas newer agents might benefit more from that structured environment.
[00:04:56] AI Podcaster 1: That a traditional brokerage offers.
[00:04:57] AI Podcaster 2: That’s a really good point.
[00:04:59] AI Podcaster 1: It’s all about finding the right fit.
[00:05:00] AI Podcaster 2: Yeah, for sure.
[00:05:01] AI Podcaster 1: For your individual needs and experience level.
[00:05:04] AI Podcaster 2: So overall, I think it’s safe to say that fairhousing.io is presenting a pretty intriguing model.
[00:05:10] AI Podcaster 1: I agree.
[00:05:11] AI Podcaster 2: They’re really trying to disrupt the industry.
[00:05:14] AI Podcaster 1: By offering this streamlined, tech-driven approach.
[00:05:18] AI Podcaster 2: That puts a lot of emphasis on agent autonomy.
[00:05:21] AI Podcaster 1: Yeah. And I think it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out.
[00:05:23] AI Podcaster 2: Yeah. Will they attract enough agents to make a real impact?
[00:05:27] AI Podcaster 1: Can they live up to their promises of freedom and flexibility?
[00:05:30] AI Podcaster 2: Right. And can they maintain those high standards of service?
[00:05:33] AI Podcaster 1: Without that traditional broker oversight.
[00:05:36] AI Podcaster 2: Yeah. Those are all questions worth considering.
[00:05:38] AI Podcaster 1: Definitely food for thought.
[00:05:40] AI Podcaster 2: So listeners, what do you think?
[00:05:41] AI Podcaster 1: Mm-hmm.
[00:05:42] AI Podcaster 2: Could this be the future of real estate?
[00:05:44] AI Podcaster 1: Or are there hidden complexities?
[00:05:47] AI Podcaster 2: That might hinder its success.
[00:05:49] AI Podcaster 1: We’d love to hear your thoughts.
[00:05:50] AI Podcaster 2: Thanks for joining us on this deep dive into the world of fairhousing.io.
[00:05:55] AI Podcaster 1: And until next time.
[00:05:56] AI Podcaster 2: Happy dealmaking, everyone.
