The “good” news for ending inflation is that the PPI is very low. Once the CPI calms down and the fed says that they are not increasing rates will be the next turning point. The question is will it lead to a recession.
No matter what, it will lead to lower rates (and that is why we say to take a 5 year ARM) and the values back up. Also, the lack of inventory is now exaggerated by builders not pursuing new land. That will lead to height in demand.
Then, prices go back up. Simple.
